Program Plan and Outline- ICEF11 Proceedings and Other Publications
Fifty two Parallel Thematic Oral Sessions (412 papers) and six Poster Sessions (680 papers) form the core of the ICEF11scientific programme. The Oral Sessions are based on a 15 min original papers presentation format. An Opening Lecture, of extended duration -30 min, overviews the advances in the thematic area of each session, focusing on the current state of the art.
Four Symposia honoring veteran pioneers in the field will be held the morning of Thursday, May 26, 2011.
Joint events - Workshops - are organized in the afternoon after ICEF11 concludes.
The final Congress Program is presented based on the announced Topics and Subtopics of ICEF11.
ICEF11 Proceedings and Publications
All papers presented in the Oral and Poster Sessions of ICEF11, are published in the ICEF11 Proceedings. The full short papers of the Proceedings will be available to the attendants, at the Conference, on a CD attachment to the three Printed Volumes comprising an abbreviated 2-page version of all papers.
The papers will also be optionally published and available through the Elsevier Procedia one month after the ICEF11 Congress. This will make all papers widely available and searchable through the ScienceDirect and Scopus. There is no page limit in this media, therefore, potentially, some papers like the Opening Lectures can be available in full format (For information and examples of published Procedia in various disciplines please visit: www.elsevier.com/locate/procedia.)
A book will be published by Springer with all the Opening Lectures as full chapters.
Selected research papers will be published in special issue of Journal of Food Engineering and Innovative Food Science and Emerging Technologies after regular peer reviewing.
